Conclusions

Better player for car use with a larger display.  remote is a nice touch.  Case does allow for portable use, you just won't be putting it in your pocket.  Huge buttons and screen make navigation easy.  Shorter battery life could be an issue but car adapters and an extra battery help. Better player for portability.   Battery life is great.  Recording feature is nice but not something I'd use all the time.  Small screen packs a ton of info but may be tough to see for the seeing impaired.  Best feature is its size.  How'd they get everything in there????

Note: I have not included comparisons which relate to firmware upgrades since the upgrades are always happening.  I have focused on things you can't change with these players.
